Scarves have been around since Ancient Rome and are still a very popular way of accessorizing. Scarves give the wearer an expressive and versatile way of stepping up their look. I love them because they can really make an outfit pop with out much effort. And if you still haven’t jumped on the scarf bandwagon, I’m hoping these looks I’m sharing today will inspire you.
I spruced up a plain T-shirt with the addition of a simple yet chic scarf. This scarf has been on heavy rotation since I received it as a gift from Mila & Such. This is a super easy look to achieve, outfit instantly boosted!
I call this look the choker and its created by simply tucking in the ends of the scarf and tying ends in the back. I used a handkerchief scarf from Madewell.
This is Mila, a NYC artist wearing one of her scarfs as a head cover. Doesn’t she look absolutely gorgeous? This is actually one of my favorite looks and if my hair weren’t so BIG I’d definitely give it a go! By the way, Mila has her own beautiful collection of inspirational scarfs on her website, go take a peek here -> Mila & Such.
Lexiconofstyle is one of my favorite Instagram accounts owned by Alexandra Dieck. Not only does Alexandra have an edgy look but she also has a knack for styling scarfs. She also has her own line of silk scarfs that are fun and super affordable; Below is a picture of one of her gorgeous scarfs, I love how chic it looks tied on her wrist.
Here is another photo of Alexandra’s scarfs and just as I said she has a super talent when it comes to creative ideas on styling scarfs! You can see more of her scarfs by visiting her at -> Lexicon Of Style
