Summer Beauty Hacks You Need To Know

Summer time is in full affect and most of us are heading to our favorite vacations spots or hanging at the beach, am I right? And of course we all want to look summer time fine during the sweltering months so I scoured the internet to find some of the best and most popular summer beauty hacks.  Here is list of beauty tips to get you ready and  make your summer go much more smoothly.

Summer Beauty Hacks You Need To Know

Most of us are sun worshippers but lets be honest the safest way to get a golden glow is through self-tanners. Now occasionally things can go horribly wrong and we can end up with streaks or patches. Ekkkk! Well, no worries my bronze goddess’s just head over to your kitchen and grab a box of baking soda. Mix a bit of the baking powder with water to form a paste. You will then use the mixture to gently exfoliate those streaks and spots.

Now in case you do get a sunburn and are in need of some relief you can make some Aloe Vera ice cubes. Just pour some Aloe Vera into an ice cube tray and freeze. Not only will it cool your burn, it will also moisturize and help reduce the pain.

Have you noticed that during the summer months your nail polishes get a bit thicker and goopy? Here’s another cool hack, store your nail polishes in the fridge or put them in fridge for about an hour before you paint your nails. This will ensure a smoother polish application with less bubbles and mess.

Summer Beauty Hacks You Must Know

Leaving the beach can be a sandy situation unless you have some talcum powder! Yes my friends, sprinkle a little on those sandy legs and feet and sand will brush off easily. Plus in a pinch it also doubles as dry shampoo, who knew?

This beauty hack is for all you blonde bombshells! As you know chlorine can be harsh on hair especially blond locks. To keep your tresses from getting a greenish hue coat your hair with a leave in conditioner before swimming. And always make sure to rinse your hair right after your swim to remove all traces of chlorine. If you already have a green hue you can try coating your hair in tomato juice for approximately 10 minutes. After wards rinse off and shampoo and condition. The tomato juice should help fade some of the green hues.

Many of you already know the magical power of coconut oil and honestly it probably deserves a post of its own. It can be used to revive your sun parched hair, just apply some overnight in your hair. Wash hair in morning and locks will be moisturized and less frizzy. Another alternative use is to apply a bit on your legs and use it to shave. Not only will your legs be super soft but it will provide a smooth and close shave.

This was great! Actually didn’t know some of these things. I always have coconut oil in my house but never used it to shave before. Will give that a try!

Great hacks Myra. I had no idea about talcum powder. Will remember that one when I am on the beach this weekend. Another tip: A lot of people don’t realize how sensitive your eyes are in the sun. So don’t forget your sunglasses 🙂 Thank you for sharing these awesome beauty hacks Myra.
