Good quality beauty products don’t have to be expensive, especially nowadays as drug store brands have come a long way. I love to try new brands (being the product junkie that I am) and discovering new stuff while at a drugstore run is super fun plus it saves me money! Here are 3 inexpensive products to try:
- I bumped into the Revolution Eye Shadow Pallet at Ulta. The chic packaging caught my eye and when I glanced at the colors I was memorized. But what really encouraged me to buy it was the $10 price tag and my curiosity to see how well they performed. This pallet is called Welcome to the Pleasuredome and is a combination of shimmering and matte shades. I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented the shadows were and how smooth they were to apply. Honestly for $10 you cant go wrong with these eye shadows, next time at Ulta take a peek at the Revolution Makeup Collection. You may end up picking a pallet for yourself!
- I’ve heard a lot of positive reviews for NYX Cosmetics but had never ventured to try them. I finally decided to try their butter lipstick. I was instantly drawn to Licorice a deep rich wine color and I must say I felt like a movie star! Another plus these lipsticks are super moisturizing which are perfect for winter weather.
- And my final item today is L’Oreal Superstar Mascara. What drew me to this mascara was the fact that its dual ended with a primer on one end. I have major love for products that multitask! The primer allows you to build volume and the mascara helps to extend lash length. I used one coat of each and I have to say my lashes were full. I was very pleased with the results and you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck.
Now who says you cant have beauty on a budget?
