How To Be Stylish and Comfortable During NYFW

I received compensation from Dr. Scholl’s® to write this post.  All opinions are entirely my own.

For a blogger heading to New York Fashion Week it’s the biggest event of the year, I would compare it to Christmas for a child. It’s the opportunity to see all the next seasons fashion before anyone else. Additionally, a great way to mix and mingle with the brands, PR agencies and your fellow bloggers. What most people fail to mention is how crazy and hectic the show schedules and events can be. You’re literally running from one event to the next with no time to rest. There are also long wait times in lines to enter some of the shows. You’re standing on your feet most of the day and there is nothing worse than spending the day in uncomfortable heels or shoes. And if you’re like me you’ll ditch the shoes for something super casual and comfy.

How To Be Stylish and Comfortable During NYFW

Well loves, today I’m sharing a little styling secret that allows you to look stylish and stay comfortable all day. Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ High Heel Relief insoles are soft gel inserts that provide cushioning and help prevent pain in high heels. The soft gel arch helps to shift pressure off the ball of your feet and they’re super discreet so no one will know your secret to looking stylish in all day comfort.

Oh, and did I mention how easy they’re to use? Just two easy steps:

  • First you wipe the inside of shoe clean; and remove plastic backing
  • Then you line up the heel of the insole with the back of shoe and the raised arch on the insole with the inner edge of the shoe

That’s it, easy peasy!

My worst issue when wearing open toe heels is that the ball of my foot tends to get sore from my foot sliding forward. You ladies know what I’m talking about, right? Dr Scholl’s also offers Stylish Step™ Ball of Foot cushions for high heels. These soft gel inserts keep my feet from sliding forward and scrunching up in the toe area. I can run around all day and look good while my feet feel good, now that’s a win – win situation for me.

Before I could share these with you I gave them a test run to make sure they live up to their description. I inserted a pair of Stylish Step™ High Heel Relief insoles in my black booties which normally hurt the bottoms of my feet after a few hours. I wore them all day as I worked and then ran my evening errands. They provided a lot of cushion and took the pressure of the ball of my feet. My feet felt wonderful and no pain at all. I also tried Stylish Step™ Ball of Foot cushions on my open toe sandals. These are the ones my feet slide forward in, and what a difference these insoles made. No sliding, no pain at the ball of my foot! I was able to be stylish and cute in my shoes all day and comfortable.

You can find more of Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ products at Target in the foot care aisle near the pharmacy. Don’t forget to snag a 10% off Cartwheel coupon. Find out more here!

So ladies, as you’re packing and prepping for all the NYFW Week shows and events don’t forget to pack your Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ insoles. You will thank me as you’re waiting on your taxi or in the long lines to enter shows/events.

How many of you are heading to NYFW this September? How many of you have attended in the past? I’d love to hear your tips and tricks about anything related to the NY trip. Please share in comment section.
